Real/physical world is a place where sellers and buyers meet, talk, touch, feel & see each other in person i.e one on one.

Advantages of Traditional marketing :
1, Customers can touch and feel what they want to buy.

2, The seller will be able to dictate whether the buyer is acute or just want to do window shopping.
3, Less return orders or purchased items because the buyer will test what he or she is buying before leaving your shop.
4, Damaged items under warranty period can be easily returned because the shop is close to you.
5,No damage : damage products that most times occur during delivery won't occur because you're not delivering it since the buyer is with you in person doing 'cash and carry'.
6, You can see your products with you and close deal forthwith which is better than having incalculable products outside that have not gotten to their destination.
Disadvantages of Traditional Marketing;
1, You can't sale to distance people because you can only reach people around your shop and don't expect people in other state to sojourn to your shop to patronize you since you're not the only one selling that products or services.
2, Cost of advertising is extremely high because for you to be a successful traditional marketer you must have musical instruments in order to get people(s) attention, you need to sign contract with famous celebrities in order for people to believe in your brand and increase sales e.g if people see Obama drinking your company coffee or his image attach to your brand as your ambassador - they'll say, "if a whole president Obama is drinking aim alkaline coffee why can't i because he only drinks rich coffees?"
To get top famous celebrities as your company ambassador to promote your goods and services cost fortune, you also need to employ dancers, buy bus and design it with your brand & will always fuel it.
3, Traditional marketing is very 'stressful' because you need to move your bus with musical instruments and dancers from street to street, village to village & we all knew stress to be malignant to our health.
4, "Time is money", you'll spend your time visiting the seller shop to buy what you want.

5, You can be defrauded if the seller's POS machine has a memory card inserted inside to get your bank details recorded on it.

1, E-world opens your real identity to fraudster who might use it to recalcitrate your reputation e,g i was duped of N5,000 by a certain facebook account holder in Jim Iyke name when i was a novice in the e-world and today if you search for Jim Iyke on fb you'll see more than 1000 facebook accounts in that same name no different at all.
A day before yesterday(monday): this phone number +2348108595204 sent this message to me and my brother on different days; "Dear customer! CBN has blocked your account & atm card due to incomplete BVN registration.
Call our customer care on 0092348104443202 to re-activate."
No specific bank name and account, & i successfully transferred money to someone account that same day and two days later.
Everyday you're entitle to receive spam and scam mails from fraudsters who want to arrogate your well built e-commerce and ruin your company image.
To avoid being victimized by fraudulent mails, calls or text messages: don't ever open any email with attachments especially from senders you don't trust because in their mails are always tempting and ignore calls and messages you don't trust especially ones promising heaven & earth.
2, Damage products: some of your products might be damaged due to decelerated delivery especially if your products are perishable.
3, Delay in receiving your goods and services payment that might be caused by your validated payment partners and most times from customers i.e if you're offering 'pay at your doorstep'.

4, Wasted effort/energy: this can be caused by customers who don't really know what they want but insist on placing order on your online store and after delivery what they ordered for - they give you one excuse or the other; the fault may also come from your logistics partnered company.
5, Money to set up e-commerce.

Some fraudulent sellers offer empty products and after receiving your money to return it to you will be a very big problem.
Some e-commerce sites that have already been hacked, records your atm card or payment details which they can use to dupe you but it's not the online store owner - it only happen to careless & ignorant e-commerce sites owners.
9, You must have electronic gadget such as smart phone or laptop in order to visit e-world through any of them and smart phones, tablet, ipad, laptop, etc do come with a price.
I've tried traditional marketing for my aim business and no good result but all my business partners today were gotten from online and i haven't even been chance to meet with any of them in person.
I discovered all my sidelines online e.g alliance in motion was introduced to me on facebook, i ascertained club080/potech on netcontacts, i discovered pazino ecc from linkedin and i also found mobile money - mini-bank in pocketmoni/etranzact plc in club080[had it been e-world doesn't exist or i wasn't on the internet i wouldn't have discovered all my sidelines today.]
