Blogging Successful Tips

A blog is a website that allows users to reflect, share notions and discuss various topics in the form of an online journal, sometimes letting readers comment on their posts.

The different between companies official websites & blog is that one can comment on blog while one can't comment on a company official professional website.

You can as well blog part time or full time and earn a decent living from your blogging career.
All blogmasters are journalists by experience because as a blogster you share what's happening around you and in the world at large to your visitors & most times bring up your knowledge in for debate.

As a blogger you must comprehend this: a child that start to run without learning how to stand first will definitely fall. And "he that's leading without anyone following him; he's only taking a walk"(don't create a blog today and commence driving traffic while your blog is still under construction because it is like sending rain to a farm land that's without crops planted on it, the rain will fall on empty land.)

I wasted money as a novice by sending traffics to an empty blog but now i've learnt my lesson.
So, i have learnt to always monetize my blog/website before investing on traffic because that is the only way that i won't begrudge it. "What ever that's worth doing is worth doing well."

4 SECRETS THAT ENSCONCE SUCCESS IN BLOGGING

  1.  Persistence :
Everything begins with you.
Leaders are winners. Just as the saying goes, "winners don't quit and quitters don't win."
Change your habits from that of a poor person to that of a rich person and you will succeed.
Write down your goals and a plan to achieving those goals. Statistics have shown that those who have goals & actually write them down, make 50% to 100% success than those who have a goal but do not write it down.
Be persistent. Do not give up after a first trial without success. Persistence is the key to success.

2. Consistence:

As a blogger you must be dependable and reliable in your blogging career. You can be consistent by posting on your blog regularly because many of your fans are expectant of new things, & if they ascertain that you've nothing new to offer them; your blog will then commence to induce them to be forlorn.
The moment your visitors become forlese over your blog, they begin to seek for entertainment(what you can't offer) elsewhere.
Always posting captivating things on your blog will propel your existing visitors to be loyal to you and it'll always increase your visitors by attracting new visitors searching for your write up.
Don't blog only when everything is going well i.e even if you haven't started earning anything from your blog/website, constantly publish things on your blog.
Always see yourself as someone that's not in competition with anyone because putting yourself in competition with others won't evoke you but will only dissuade to give up quick especially once you ascertain that you're no match to your competitor("when you focus on your focus you become a focus")

3. Content:

Content means what your blog contain which defines your career. Content is the 'Power/Engine Room'  of a blog because without content no one can tell what your blog is all about or where your blog is heading to.
What your visitors are after is your content because that's what determines whether they will always return to your blog.
Since content is the engine of a blog, that inculcate that you must provide very unique content to distinguish your blog from other blogs out there because that is the only way to keep your visitors to yourself.
Why do you think people are proliferationally visiting your blog? Do you think that you're the only blogger around them? Once you can answer these questions; then you can satisfy your visitors because even dogs can be loyal to their owners - only if their owners treat them well but if dogs are not treated well, their owners will be forced to ask themselves if they're the actual owners of them or someone misplaced/mistook  their dogs???
If your content is momentous, new & existing people will always visit your blog even if you're not paying for traffic.

4. Traffic:

Traffic is the green light of a blog. Without green light cars are not allowed to move/cross over because in the real world - red light means stop while yellow light represent get ready to move/fly.
So, in blogging your red light can be considered as consistency while your yellow light is content and your green light is traffic.
Traffic in the e-world(blog/website) can be defined as the number of people coming in & out to see what you display on your blog or website.
The quantity of your traffic(the number of your visitors) determines how much you can earn from your blog/website.
Obviously, no matter how cute a blog or website may be; without traffic such blog or website is il-lucrative because the only thing advertisers are looking for is traffic and not beautiful blog/website.
Significant contents bring  significant visitors while enormous traffic bring noble advertisers.
Your content determines your visitors, your visitors synthesis your traffic, your traffic emerges advertisers and advertisers conceive profits/harvest.
Why advertisers are looking for traffic is because they want to get value for their money, & why visitors are looking for content is because they want to be inspired, they want to be joyously entertained, they want to read meaningful things that will add value to their life and not meaningless articles that will devalue their lifestyle.

Disadvantages Of Blogging

  1. It's time consuming.
  2. Now that there's dollar inflation, cost of promoting your blog in order increase your traffic is high because most means of driving traffic don't accept naira. You buy traffic wholesale to resale.

If your business can't  be found on search engines, you basically don't exist.

SEO is simply the process of maximizing the number of visitors to a particular website by ensuring that the site appears high on the list of results returned by a search engine.

Search engines are becoming:

the primary entry point for discovering web pages.
ranking of web pages - influences which page users will view.
exclusion of a site from search engines will cut off the site from its intended audience.

Search Engine Optimization involves Audit, Strategy, Implementation. SEO will help you position your website properly to be found at the most critical points in the buying process or when people need your site.

SEO isn’t to cheat the search engines, the purpose of SEO is to:

create a great, seamless user experience.
communicate to the search engines your intentions so they can recommend your website for relevant searches.

What Search Engines Are Looking For

Search engines want to do their jobs as best as possible by referring users to websites and content that is the most relevant to what the user is looking for. So how is relevancy determined?

Content: Is determined by the theme that is being given, the text on the page, and the titles and descriptions that are given.
Performance: How fast is your site and does it work properly
Authority: Does your site have good enough content to link to or do other authoritative sites use your website as a reference or cite the information that’s available?
User Experience: How does the site look? Is it easy to navigate around? Does it look safe? Does it have a high bounce rate?

What Search Engines Are NOT Looking For

Keyword Stuffing: Overuse of keywords on your pages.
Purchased Links: Buying links will get you nowhere when it comes to SEO, so be warned.
Poor User Experience: Make it easy for the user to get around. Too many ads and making it too difficult for people to find content they’re looking for will only increase your bounce rate. If you know your bounce rate it will help determine other information about your site.

You should always keep SEO in the forefront of your mind, and always follow best practices. Skipping the basics of SEO will only leave your site’s foundation a mess and prevent you from fully maximizing revenue opportunities.
