Here's what a friend said towards the incident, "Please avoid Allen Avenue or you have canoe." Enormous water was all over Allen avenue, which almost swallowed cars passing by(how much more compared to human beings trekking during that heavy rain?).
The scourge of this is bad construction because the engineers that constructed that area forgot that raining season do exist and this meanace affect people living around there, as water is entering their houses, shops, offices, etc.
It's not adviceable to rent a house or office during dry season(always make enquiries before renting any apartment in order to desist future begrudge)!
